Appraisal of House & Property
Final approval of your home loan will likely depend on a satisfactory appraisal of the real estate you are purchasing.
An appraisal provides valuable information for the buyer and the seller, but the appraiser's primary mission is to protect the lender. The appraisal is organized by the lender in order to determine the market value of the property.
When the appraisal is conducted, the appraiser considers the location of the home, its proximity to desirable schools and other public facilities, the lot size, the condition and size of the home itself and recent sales prices of comparable properties, among other factors.
